Kanchhi’s Journey Leading Her Family to Christ

Kanchhi and her brother are among the very first church planters sent out by JFN!

Kanchhi is a female church planter currently serving the Lord in D***** with her brother Maniraj. Her family of 5 lives in India.

Before coming to Christ her life was filled with anger and bitterness. Due to her painful childhood, she frequently fought with people and hurt those closest to her. When she was 14 years old her father got into an accident and hurt his head. The hard times that followed caused her mother to leave the family, filling Kanchhi with bitterness.

In 2010, she heard the gospel for the first time. This marked a turning point in her life, and slowly, she began to heal from the bitterness and anger. However, when Kanchhi accepted Christ, her entire family—and even her village—turned against her. Despite the rejection, she remained steadfast in her faith and grew stronger in the Lord.

God answered her prayers. Today, all of her family members, along with the people from her village, have accepted Christ as their personal Savior. Now, God continues to use Kanchhi in Nepal to reach the lost and bring them to salvation.

Kanchhi serves alongside her brother Maniraj. The two are among the very first church planters sent out by JFN in Nepal!
